“Yes, I’ll get your drinks right away, Mr. Blair.” Greg’s eyes lingered on Kylie, and her instincts had her dipping her head down.

It was a weird reaction from the nebulous of the universe.

“So, why do your roommates hound you about finding a man? I thought you were putting yourself out there.” I made sure to smirk; girls loved quirky smirking and inferred sexual dominance.

Her face reddened, and there was that weird giggle. Was this the same Kylie Morgan? I was almost expecting her to have me right on the table since she didn’t seem to care. She’d been naked in print so many times I didn’t even have to guess what she might look like. I already knew what I’d be getting. All I had to discover was how good she was in bed. If that’s how I wanted the night to go.

“They’re here.” Panic flashed across her face. “Just ... um, you know ... pretend.” She bit her lip, her nerves having fired up a kind of tension only virgins and cheaters show when they are about to do it.

“That’s pretty much all I can do at this point, but I’m good ... we’re good.” I turned up the heat in my voice; suddenly having sex with her tonight was non-negotiable.

“Kyle!” A perky blonde rushed over to us making as much of a scene as to be expected by a drunk blonde fashion model in Kylie’s posse.

The other woman was a little heavier set, normal body weight for an average woman. Her sweet face had a tiny turned-up nose and thick pouty lips, but she wasn’t as spectacular as her supermodel friends.

Kylie stood to greet them with genuine hugs, no air patting. “You guys really shouldn’t have come.” She rolled her eyes and pulled out a chair for each of them, who awkwardly nodded to me and realized almost at the same time who I was. “This is Alec,” Kylie mentioned as she sat, and Greg brought our drinks.

“Can I get you, ladies, anything?” he asked most likely as his loins fired up because as a package the three women before me were goddesses descended from heaven.

“Oh, they aren’t staying.” Kylie’s stern glare made me laugh.

“We aren’t?” the cute girl asked.

“You aren’t,” Kylie confirmed. “Thank you.” She smiled at Greg as she took her drink. “So, Alec.” She was casual, I liked that. “This is Avery.” Her hand gracefully danced over to her hot model friend. “And,” the hand continued its sweeping motion, “Madison. My best friends on Earth. Ladies, this is Alec.”

“Are you freaking serious, Kyle?” Madison squeaked.

Kylie took a deep breath. I wasn’t sure if she had a comeback to the inevitable ‘are you serious’ line. I’d heard it several times before. I personally would say, ‘No.’ I never planned to get serious with anyone. I was finished with love. No one, not even Christian, my business partner, and the closest person to a friend I had, could convince me that one day there would be someone special enough to fill the Mrs. Blair role. It wasn’t going to happen. I loved variety; I loved fucking women and making them succumb to my whims, and more than anything, there was no way my heart was ever going out on the line again.

After a tragedy, some people became more human, more real. They take stock of their lives and start living to the fullest. Not me ... I did the opposite; I became a monster who believed in nothing more than making money, having fun, and being in control of every fiber of my existence.

“Serious? What’s the fun in that?” I replied heating up my stare. “I don’t think we’ll ever be serious. Will we, darling?”

Kylie’s dazzling smile lit up the room.

“We’re too crazy for serious,” she volleyed right back.

“How long has this been happening?” Avery asked, her mouth slack and almost drooling.

“For a little while.” Kylie was vague.

Vague was fun, left the illusion in place. I liked to really twist the knife.

“Long enough for me to obsess over the mole just under her left breast.” I slid my hand over to Kylie and caressed her finger.

The truth was if anyone had seen her Calvin Klein spread in Cosmopolitan, they all saw the mole. She was stretched out wearing a pair of men’s briefs, and from the angle they shot and the way she was posed, it looked like she didn’t have breasts as her body looked more like a boy’s. A man was provocatively placed above her wearing the exact same briefs, and I noted the small sexy mole below her left tit. It was tiny, but there. I liked the imperfection of something as flawless as her body.

I figured in such an intimate company, I could say provocative things. Who knew if she’d had sex with these ladies, they all seemed comfortably close.

“And you wanted to have it removed,” Madison chimed in to scold.

Kylie sighed deeply; this had probably spiraled away from her rather quickly.

“She won’t be getting it removed.” My voice was cold, stern, and commanding.

If she was mine, even for the night, she’d never be allowed to remove the mole, and I’d make sure she knew it.

“Okay, so um ... we’re just having drinks, the two of us. I hope you guys don’t feel stupid for coming over, there’s really nothing to see here.” She shrugged her shoulders. “Sorry that you had to miss the party.” She was dismissing them. That was rather interesting as she had no idea what she was about to get herself into.

  Likely, she’d wish they’d stayed.

“The party sucked. We came to check on you and we’re heading in. I’ve got work tomorrow.” Madison looked a little disappointed that they wouldn’t be hanging out with us; however, it was already almost ten o’clock on a school night.

“Me too, my mockups are due tomorrow, so we’ll leave you two lovebirds.” Avery flashed a plastic smile, and Kylie visibly cringed.

After sweet goodbyes, Kylie and I were left alone again. She turned to me, and I was sure she planned on making a run for it.

“Well thank you so much for this, Mr. Blair,” Kylie started, and I did everything in my power not to laugh in her face. “Our drinks are on me. I really appreciated you just going for it. That was such a great performance ... almost too great. Hope I didn’t bother you too much.” I grabbed her arm as she stood up to keep her from bolting.

“Wait a minute. You can’t just roll up on a guy, ask him to be your date and dash.” There was a sad look of panic in her eyes.

Was she really that awkward around men? A cheesy come-on line and she looked like she was about to cry. This couldn’t be the Kylie Morgan who was wearing booty shorts and a pair of stilettos on the billboard outside of my office. There was no possible way.

“Sorry, I ... um. Thank you. Thank you very much.” She tugged her arm, and I softened my grip.

“Stay for a while, talk. It’s not every day Kylie Morgan walks up to your table and asks you to be her boyfriend, well it is every day for some, but not for me.” Again, the hurt look in her eyes. “Why were your friends so worried about you? Shouldn’t they have been with their own dates tonight?”

“Well I just broke up, so they wanted to make sure I wasn’t driving off a cliff somewhere.” Her smirky shrug tipped me off she was lying.

“Oh yes, with Dane Wynters, the gay lead singer of Rock’s Mother. That must have been an interesting three weeks of your life. I can see why you’d be torn up.” Sarcasm dripped from every word, but it finally got a laugh out of her.

“Okay, I wasn’t dating Dane ... and I didn’t just break up with anyone,” her voice dropped. “How did you know?”

“How could I not? Everyone knows we gave him a pass because it was you, even the staunchest gay would probably do you.” I offered a breezy guffaw, hoping to ease her up a bit more.

“My friends and I have always had each other’s backs. I’m out there, so if I’m not with them, then they need to know I’m with someone safe. As far as them dating, they’re both really busy right now, so relationships aren’t what they’re into. Since I ditched them at the party they panicked. I just wanted some breathing room. Sometimes things can get ... intense.” Her voice trailed off into her b
eer as she took a long draw so as not to engage in any more conversation.

“I bet they can. You, like me, are always in the public eye. So ... I have an offer for you. Seeing you’ve missed most of the basketball game, and it’s not much fun, in my opinion, to drink alone, why don’t we head over to my place for a drink and some conversation?”

Her head cocked, and her eyes narrowed.

“You are not inviting me over to talk.” She glared. “You’re well known for the women you date. I’m not the only one with a reputation here.”

“No, you’re right. I’m not inviting you over to talk.” I smiled back at her and rubbed her shoulder. “Are you interested?”

  Chapter 3

  Kylie

Oh God, oh, Jesus. He was asking me to go home with him. He was so handsome, but that was it, that’s all I knew about Alec Blair other than he was one of the richest men in Manhattan.

“I’m not who you think I am ... I mean I am, but …” Fuck, I was so flustered he had my mind and my Vjay in knots.

Part of me wanted to go home with him and have sex until I couldn’t stand up in the morning, and the other part of me, the sane part, knew that’d never work. I wasn’t Kylie Morgan. I was Kylie Morgan Konslavky, a foster kid who had some really shitty people in her life do some really crappy things to her. I didn’t sleep around. I pretended like I did so I could control the game, but in truth, I’d only had two short-term boyfriends and never a one-night stand.

“What’s holding you back?” He leaned in as if he was studying me.

“I don’t just go home with people. I know it might look like it, but I’m ... it’s all smoke and mirrors. You should know; I’m sure you’ve dated your fair share of models, the agencies spin things to keep them interesting.”

“You must be quite dizzy then. They’ve done a lot of spinning in your case. To answer your question, I have dated a lot of supermodels, but I haven’t dated you.” His smile could melt Satan.

“Cute line, Alec, but no.” I gently pulled my arm away from him and instantly regretted it.

“What are you afraid of? Getting a bad reputation? It seems you’ve already beat yourself to that. Worried that I might end up clingy and controlling? Nope ... I have no desire to keep you. I’ll throw you right on back to the pretty boys you’re used to. If you’re afraid of fucking so hard your mind explodes and sends you to the moon, then maybe, just maybe you should be a little worried about that. But I promise you one thing, Kyle ...” His voice deepened and slithered over my nickname ... so observant. “You’ll be leaving me so wet and wrung out you’ll hardly be able to stand. That might be a nice memory one day ...”

I took a deep breath and finished my beer.

“I want to say no.” I batted my eyes and lifted my gaze up from my thick-rimmed beer mug.

He punched something into his phone and stood up, giving me his arm. “But I’m glad you’re saying yes. Shall we then?”

I took his arm. “I really shouldn’t be doing this.” Suddenly I felt sick and reminded myself I could always refuse him later.

“Yes, you should.” He pulled me in closer.

His driver pulled up in a town car, and I scooted in. Everything smelled of warm leather and men’s cologne. This man was built for seduction. He raised the partition between us and the driver.

“So …” I nervously shifted in my seat. “I can still say ‘no’ to this, right?”

“You can try.” He leaned and gathered me into his lap.

My first instinct was to push away from him, but there was something so dominant and sexy about Alec. I couldn’t resist. I knew I’d have to later, but in that instant, I let him seduce me. The power of his erection was so shocking I actually bucked my ass off of his lap when I felt it.

“What the hell?” I realized after saying it that I was probably being a shithead; I mean it was his dick, after all, and he may have been sensitive about it, most men were.

He was taking me home for the sole purpose of having sex, so it shouldn’t have been a surprise that he had a boner. He’d probably been sporting it most of the evening.

“You’re not a virgin, are you?” His laughter eased the insensitivity of the question. He took great pains to set me just beside his erection. “I mean you are aware of how you turn men on, right? Even in this get-up.” His fingers pinched my shirt and lifted a little enough to expose my skin.

His warm hand slid onto my belly and rested there. If he’d just inched his hand up a little more he would have discovered that I’d opted not to wear a bra, but he left his hand where it was and looked into my eyes.

“My roommates came to my rescue tonight because men want a lot more of me than I’m willing to give. All the dates, all the people, everything ... it’s set up by my modeling agency. I don’t screw around. They thought having a sweet girl who liked nice boys wouldn’t sell my image very well, considering I look so … androgynous I guess. They needed something to play off of. So, I have these “dates” where we just hang out and play Call of Duty ... or go to a trendy restaurant, take a vacation, get naked, and have a swim, but at night we have separate rooms. A lot of the men have even brought their girlfriends, or you know Dane had his boyfriend. My roommates don’t let me out into the wild that often. I lied and said I had a real guy, so they wouldn’t worry. Otherwise, I could have ended up in a limo with a billionaire who wanted to fuck me until I was so wrung out I couldn’t stand.” I looked up at him and surrendered.

“I see,” was his quiet reply.

My heart was beating so hard at that point it was actually moving my T-shirt. His hand gripped my stomach more firmly, but not hard.

“I live down the street; maybe you can just drop me off.” I looked down at his hand.

I so wanted to explore more with him. There was this crazy animalistic quality to all his refinement and billionairish ways, but I ... couldn’t breathe.

“Or maybe you and I can talk.” His eyes softened, and there was a human in there behind all that intense sexual energy. “Seems like, in addition to your ravenous all-girl posse, you might need a friend who understands your world.” All the tension in my body finally flooded out of me, and I thought I might cry.

“I’m not turning you down exactly,” I whispered.

“And I’m not letting you go ... exactly,” he whispered back. “But maybe a pause is warranted. I can be a lot to take on. If you want my driver to take you home, I’ll have him take you anytime you want ... all you have to do is ask. I’m not a rapist; I won’t force you to do something you’re truly not comfortable with. I’m guessing though, you are more into this than your conscience will allow. It’s one thing to play at being a playgirl and a very different thing to allow yourself some healthy human sexuality.” His hand started moving ever so softly.

“I might be a little scared of healthy human sexuality,” I barely breathed.

“I might be able to help you with that.” He brought my face up to his and dropped his soft full lips onto mine.

My pussy clenched at the taste of him. Scotch mixed with commanding heat, determination, and sex. His tongue slipped into my mouth allowing it to explore before he gently bit my bottom lip and raked his teeth along the tender flesh. My vagina stood up, threw off her T-shirt, kicked out of her jeans, and spread herself out. I’m ready for this ... bring on that schlong. I pressed my legs together to keep her quiet. Alec dove his tongue back into my mouth to meet mine and slowly grazed the tip of it over the outline of my tongue, and I was undone. He moved from my mouth to my cheek and planted a chaste kiss there, but his hand moved up my belly, to my breasts. Then his mouth found my chin, my forehead, my neck. I flinched when the scruff of his beard picked my neck and gasped, panting a little ...

“Neck,” he whispered hotly in my ear.

“What are you doing?” I wiggled away from him.

“Kissing you.” His hand stopped its travels, and suddenly I missed his onslaught.

  “Just kissing?” I looked lo
st, small, certainly not the woman who I was to the rest of the world.

“No … we’ll be doing much more than kissing, but not in the car. I do have my standards.”

  “Good, great,” I rambled.

He went back to my neck, and I tried to stay still as he smiled into my skin. He then kissed my chin again and back up to my mouth where his tongue pressed against my lips, begging them to open. We kissed for the rest of the ride until we arrived at an elaborate apartment building on the Upper East Side. His place wasn’t far from mine. His car pulled up to the curb, and he broke our kiss.

“Here we are.” His mouth looked raw and swollen.

My lips were also raw and sensitive from all the kissing, but damn the kissing was so good. I’d locked lips with a few men, but Alec ... he was a virtuoso. I could only imagine what the rest of him could do. I wiggled out of the limo and righted my clothes as I stared up a million stories.

“Let me guess … you’re on the top.” I lifted my eyebrows, trying to tease.

“I am, but for you, it’s the basement,” he said with such a straight face I thought he might actually be serious.

I looked back to the driver as he pulled into traffic. This made him burst into laughter.

“Really?” He was still laughing. “Do you think I’m a monster?”

“Well, I mean I have a team of girls for this very reason.” I tried to see the humor, but I was genuinely a little worried.

“No, to the top, very predictably billionaire …” He took off his long overcoat and placed it over my shoulders.

The night air had me shivering, but really it was more Alec who made me tremble. I’d thought to wear a T-shirt and jeans so I wouldn’t be recognized and was so focused on dressing down I forgot I needed to keep warm. A bellman opened the door for us and punched in a code that activated the elevator.

“Your own elevator?” I asked, not surprised, but still sort of surprised.
